In her fifty productions, Munich director Waltraud Lehner concentrates on premieres and first performances, is the winner of the European Opera Directing Prize, has been awarded the Music Theatre Now Prize for Chamber Opera and has been nominated several times for Opernwelt\’s Production of the Year. Since 2013, she has been Professor of Scenic Direction at the Opera School of the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich and Artistic Director of the \”Musiktheater-im-Reaktor\” format, which she founded.
